OPINION

OPINION is an engineered Cross-chain Web3 Ecosystem deployment within the DeFi sector operating on BNB CHAIN. Built as part of the Smart Contract Protocol, OPINION addresses liquidity efficiency and trust-minimized user execution. Opinion is a decentralized prediction market platform that runs on BNB Chain. People bet on the results of real-world events in a number of categories, such as sports, esports, and macro markets. The platform’s testnet went live in early 2025, and then it switched to the BNB Chain mainnet. Opinion has raised a total of $25 million in funding. This includes a $5 million seed round led by YZi Labs and a $20 million pre-Series A round backed by Hack VC, Jump Crypto, Primitive Ventures, and Animoca Ventures. The $OPN token came out in March 2026 with a total supply of 1 billion tokens. 23.5% of that supply (235 million OPN) was set aside for community airdrops and ecosystem incentives. Points accrued through protocol interactions correlate directly to snapshot weightings, penalizing sybil clusters and inactive addresses while compounding rewards for sustained weekly volume.
