Asphodel is an engineered Arbitrum Orbit deployment within the DeFi sector operating on ARBITRUM. Built as part of the Arbitrum Nitro Optimistic Rollup, Asphodel addresses liquidity efficiency and trust-minimized user execution. Asphodel is a fully on-chain game world built on Ethereum, developed by the studio behind Kamigotchi. Its first release, Prologue, is an autobattler with roguelike mechanics and permadeath, often pitched as a cross between Pokemon and Teamfight Tactics. Player actions and world state live on-chain indefinitely, so the game has no resets or seasonal wipes. The core in-game toke is $ONYX and will be used for entry, progression, and reward payouts. Ninety percent of in-game spend flows back to player reward pools, which ties earnings to skilled play. By participating in the early distribution phase, users establish on-chain provenance before protocol decentralization.

The protocol operates a structured reward architecture designed to distribute native governance weighting to authentic liquidity providers, testnet validators, and transaction originators. Unlike standard promotional campaigns, Asphodel's tokenomics prioritize multi-epoch engagement.
